It is the only salon between Bang Tao and Thalang that hand-strips wire coats rather than clipping them, and the only one running a forced-air dryer at a temperature it will tell you. Clipping a terrier’s wire coat cuts the harsh outer guard hairs at the same length as the soft undercoat. The coat grows back softer and paler every time, and after three or four clips it does not come back at all. Hand-stripping pulls dead outer hairs from the follicle so the new growth is correct. It takes two hours instead of forty minutes, which is why almost nobody offers it.
